Pay-outs of more than R5m at Meropa Casino

Meropa Casino and Entertainment World is regarded as the jewel in Sun International's crown with its Moroccan-style.

POLOKWANE – The gaming mecca and all-in-one entertainment destination in Polokwane payed out winnings of just over R5m to lucky visitors in the first half of the year.

The biggest pay-ot was R474 500 which was made in February on the Geisha machine. Golden Princess and Lucky 88 each paid out twice, earning punters hundreds of thousands in winnings.

Meropa reopened its doors following the presidential announcement on July 25 and general manager Sammy Mokhele said: “We would like to thank our customers for their loyal support during these trying times and welcome each of you back to our establishment.”

In keeping with the new level three regulations, the casino complex closes at 21:00.
