Get your jab at Thornhill’s market day this weekend
Thornhill Shopping Centre's Hello Spring Market Day on Saturday (September 4) will have a Covid-19 vaccination stand as well as a variety of stalls.
POLOKWANE – Spend your first Saturday of spring at Thornhill Shopping Centre.
The centre will host their Hello Spring Market Day this Saturday (September 4).
A vaccination stand will be available for those who want to get their Covid-19 jabs, while everyone can browse an array of items on display.
“The market day gives small businesses a platform to sell their products, while those who are unable to vaccinate during the week, will have an opportunity to get vaccinated,” said marketing manager Marise Rademan.
The vaccinations will be done in conjunction with the Department of Health and will likely be the Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
“Vaccinations will be done between 09:00 and 15:30. Bring along your ID and we will see you there,” added Rademan.
She said the market day is a build-up event for their dog show on October 9.
“Entries will open on September 10 and there will be loads of fun categories available. We will also showcase agility (trained dogs) and have a self-defence section. Stalls will once again feature, and we will focus on companies within the pet industry,” she concluded.
