Male driver dies in N1 north collision outside Polokwane
Authorities are still on the scene and traffic is moving slowly.
POLOKWANE – Traffic services are still on the scene of a 2-vehicle collision along the N1 north of Polokwane.
The incident happened near the Landdros Maré and N1 bypass junction at around 11:00 on Thursday (September 23).
The incident involved a truck and a sedan and one man died on the scene, the spokesperson for the Department of Transport and Community Safety, Matomi Moremi-Taueatsoala told Review.

“It is alleged the truck collided into the side of the sedan causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver of the sedan was killed.”
He added that a case of reckless driving will be investigated.
