Another successful Limpopo Holiday Fair

To celebrate tourism in the province, the fifth annual Limpopo Holiday Fair took place at Savannah Mall last weekend.

POLOKWANE – Various overnight accommodations and spa’s had the opportunity to promote their businesses over the three-day fair.

Some stalls offered visitors a foot massage, while others gave them a taste of Mopani worms or gave them the opportunity to buy some colourful beaded earrings and necklaces.

There were also a variety of different traditional food, calabash (mbita and ndzeko) as well as traditional clothing on display.

“The idea is to revive domestic tourism in the province.

“The exhibitors are from across Limpopo and have the opportunity to talk to each other and work out tour packets to show people what is available in the province,” said event organiser Gerhard Franken.
