Kas believes that love makes the world go around

The young Miss Limpopo Province 2022 semi-finalist shared her love by donating a dignity pack to the children at the Rise from the Ground orphanage.

POLOKWANE – Kas Godlwana, a Gr 1 learner at Curro Heuwelkruin, was chosen to be a semi-finalist for Miss Limpopo Province 2022.

She started to model with ACE Models and decided to work with the Rise From The Ground orphanage in Nobody and organise lunch for the children.

“I also donated a dignity pack which included sanitary towels, soap, Vaseline, Colgate and tin food.”

Kas chose this project as she believes that basic needs are part of a child’s human rights. “If they do not have access to food or basic sanitary items they will not be able to go to school. The key is to make sure that children remain in school. My project aims to support education and remove children from the streets.”

If Kas walks away with the winning title, she will continue to work with Rise From The Ground. “Even if I do not win the crown, I will continue my work. A princess wears an invisible crown. I hope people vote for me. I love myself, therefore it is easy for me to love others. I am a giver.”

In her free time she loves to play tennis, dance ballet, spend time with her friends and family and play the piano.
