Electricity restored to most parts of Bendor

The municipal electrical team is still attending to the electricity supply problem in Sunset Boulevard.

POLOKWANE – The electricity supply has been restored to most parts of Bendor, says Thipa Selala, the spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality .

This after a large portions of the Bendor, Welgelegen, Woodhill and other surrounding areas experienced an outage on Monday (November 22). This morning Selala told Review that the fault was located and fixed. 

“Power was restored to most areas by the evening.”

He added that the team is however still attending to the electricity supply problem in Sunset Boulevard.

Residents are once again warned to treat all electrical wiring as live during unplanned power outages. “Switch off all appliances to avoid injury and damage once supply is restored.,” he said.
