Polokwane resident Leonie Myburgh hopes to spread some festive cheer and invites residents to view her Christmas light display.

POLOKWANE – “I remember years ago our parents made an outing to drive through the city from late November through December to show us all the beautiful Christmas lights and decorations. We would then vote one garden to be the best, only to find the next one better,” said Leonie Myburgh.
Unfortunately this tradition faded away somewhere along the line and these days gardens lit with Christmas decorations are far and few between.
Leonie, who lives in 3 Kigelia Street, decided to keep this tradition alive and decorated her garden in the Christmas spirit.
“We switch on the lights at around 18:30 and off again at 00:00. Anybody can drive by and show their children the beautiful lights.”
