The Mokopane English Primary School recently awarded their learners for their performance during the year.

MOKOPANE – Mokopane English Primary School recently held their award ceremony where learners received certificates and badges for their academic performances throughout the year.

Here are the learners who received a certificate of merit and a badge for achieving an average of 80% and above:

Gr 4:

Thandeka Swathe receives the Abu Baker trophy for an average of 87.4%.

• Rabab Ali.

Gr 5:

Yusuf Mosam receives the Kumon trophy for an average of 89.4%.

• Yusuf Mosam. He also received the Kumon trophy for an average of 89.4%.
• Cyle Terblanche.
• Gabriella Monene.
• Tshegofatjo Magongoa.
• Ryan Chakauya.
• Leano Mokoena.

Gr 6:

Faiz Ahmed receives the Ayesha Mashishi trophy for achieving an average of 93.6%.

• Rania Badrod in.
• Phetogo Lamola.
• Khumo Nkanyane.

Gr 7:

Keatlegile Makhate receives the M Mosam trophy and the Ted Muhajer Dux Award.

• Keatlegile Makhate.
• Bokamoso Mmabane.
• Moagi Mashilo.

Keatlegile received the the M Mosam trophy with an average of 90.2%. She also achieved the highest average in Gr 5, Gr 6 and Gr 7 and received the Ted Muhajer Dux Award. To add to this, Keatlegile was crowned the best performer in English Home Language, Afrikaans First Additional Language, mathematics, natural science, social science, economic management science, technology, arts and culture and life orientation.

Hebron Negussi was awarded the junior archer of the year.
