POLOKWANE – Mothapo said supply to Eskom’s Beta and Epsilon substations has tripped.

“Various areas including parts of Flora Park, Fauna Park, Penina Park, Ivypark, Ivydale, Nirvana, Westenburg and other surrounding areas are off. Eskom is busy investigation the matter and will provide feedback,” he explained.

Mothapo added that the matter is receiving ‘urgent attention’.

“The team will employ all measures to restore power as soon as possible. An update will be provided once available. In the meantime, in order to avoid electrocution or damage, all electrical cables should be considered to be live and all electrical appliances be switched off,” he concluded.
