Prospective students flock to Capricorn TVET College after the facility availed its resources to the general public to assist students in meeting the deadline for late NSFAS applications.

LIMPOPO – Students received the good news that the deadline for NSFAS applications got extended to January 21.

The news came after the Capricorn TVET College availed its resources to the general public to assist students in meeting the deadline for late applications. Students came in their numbers to make use of the assistance offered by the college.

The institution’s public relations officer, Madire Mashabela, told BONUS it is important for them to assist the community and not limit help to students who study or plan to study at Capricorn TVET College only.

Mashabela added the campaign was supported by the Department of Higher Education and Training as well as NSFAS. The use of the college’s premises was for one day and Mashabela explained this was because they planned according to the initial deadline of January 7. A statement released by NSFAS urged students to make use of the opportunity afforded to them by the extension of deadline.
