TAKE NOTE: Student march to affect traffic in Landdros Maré Street
Capricorn TVET College Seshego students are protesting after a decision was taken by the college to pay out NSFAS accomodation allowances directly to the landlords instead of the students.
POLOKWANE – Traffic is expected to be interrupted on Landdros Maré Street in the vicinity of Capricorn TVET College’s Central offices on Market Street due to a student march.
Students from the Capricorn TVET College Seshego campus, accompanied by Polokwane traffic officials and police, are marching to the central office on Market Street.
Students are protesting after a decision was taken by the college to pay out NSFAS accomodation allowances directly to the landlords instead of the students.
They will be joined by students from Seshego’s sister campuses Ramokgopa and Polokwane at the SABC Park where they will proceed using Landdros Maré Street towards Market Street.
