TAKE NOTE: Parts of Seshego to be without power

The Polokwane Municipality said power will be restored once contracted work has been finalised and that downtime will be from 08:00 to 16:00.

POLOKWANE – Resident in Seshego Zone 3 and Zone 4 will be without power today (March 31) due to the installation of pole and fuse links to the line supplying the area.

Polokwane Municipality spokesperson Thipa Selala said this is to enable connection of the new water reticulation in the area.

Selala added that Capricorn TVET College will not be affected by the outage and that downtime will be from 08:00 to 16:00.

“Power supply shall be restored once the contractor has finalized the work. Affected areas are advised to treat all electrical wiring as live during the shutdown and to switch off all appliances to avoid injury and damage once supply is restored.”
