Nurse Jane on the importance and benefits of colon cleansing

Colon cleansing is important for both males and females as it removes toxins from the body, helps with weight loss for people struggling with weight and improves one's immune and digestive system.

POLOKWANE – Nurse Jane Mohononi (41) said a colon cleanse involves the act of flushing out the large intestine with fluids to remove waste.

Jane recently opened the Colon Health Polokwane Clinic in Sterpark (1 Munnik Street) and was inspired by her daughter, who was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) in 2021, when they couldn’t find a colon cleansing clinic in Polokwane.

She tells the Polokwane Observer that colon cleansing is important for both males and females as it removes toxins from the body, helps with weight loss for people struggling with weight and improves one’s immune and digestive system.

“Most importantly, colon cleansing also reduces the risk of colon cancer,” Mohononi said.

Jane said one can benefit from colon cleansing if you want lose weight but keep regaining the weight, when you have an imbalanced diet, when your bowel movements are not normal and when you’re always feel tired or fatigued.

She concludes by saying a maintenance session may be once per month or even once every couple of months.

“If you’re intent on having a full and intense cleansing you can have up to one session a week for three to six sessions. Everyone is different, and everyone has a different goal and reason to be here,” she concludes.

Other benefits of colon cleansing:
• Increases fertility.
• Maintains ph balance in the bloodstream.
• Improves whole-body well-being.
• Increases the body’s absorption of vitamins and nutrients.
• Maintains regularity and prevents constipation.
