Get into the festive spirit by dressing up this Christmas
Fashion designer Kingwiz gives tips to elevate your outfits these holidays whether it is an evening get-together, office party or family dinner.

POLOKWANE – Fashion designer and tailor Kingwiz says the festive season and Christmas gives one an excuse to dress up.
The founder of Kings Wear Clothing in the CBD told the Polokwane Review-Observer that evening get-togethers, office parties and family dinners are all great fun but dressing up for the occasion makes it worthwhile.
“Rock that super extra dress, shoes, pants or top that you’re too scared to put on any other time of the year because you feel it doesn’t fit the occasion,” he said.
Kingwiz said one needs to be careful in the selection process so that the outfit looks beautiful without compromising your comfort.
“Don’t pick fabrics that can cause itching or scratches on your body. It’s better to avoid synthetics and move to natural materials as they allow your skin to breathe better without causing irritation. This is why all my designs are comfortable to wear throughout any season,” he said.
Kingwiz said a knockout combination for women is a shimmery red cocktail dress or jumpsuit paired with silver shoes.
“There’s just something about glitter that looks so glamorous and elegant when you enter a building,” he said.
He added that men shouldn’t be scared to wear bold colours or prints.
“Wearing loud colours makes you stand out and look more unique as a man and the colour will also compliment your partner’s outfit as well. The aim is to not look ordinary.”
