Group arrested for dealing drugs in Polokwane
Thorough investigations led to a take down operation that resulted in the arrest of four men allegedly involved in the dealing of illicit drugs.

POLOKWANE – Members of the Provincial Organized Crime Investigation and Crime Intelligence units recently focused their resources on a take down operation in Polokwane.
“The group’s thorough investigation led them to four men suspected to be involved in dealing drugs around Polokwane, Westenburg, Seshego and Nirvana,” Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo confirmed in a statement.
The concerted efforts of the SAPS resulted the arrest of these four individuals, aged between 24-32, at their respective homes in Westenburg on Wednesday (December 21) morning at about 03:00.
Provincial police commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe applauded the stellar work of the investigation team that led to the arrest of possible drug dealers in the city.
“These arrests will go a long way in ridding Limpopo of the scourge of crime. We commend the members for fruitfully utilising the information provided. We also thank residents for continuously assisting the police in the fight against crime,” Hadebe concluded.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court today (December 22) facing charges of dealing in illicit drugs.
