Westenburg matrics say so long to exams and high school

The glittering event saw learners arriving in luxury vehicles and motorcycles and were dressed in colourful evening wear.

POLOKWANE – Westenburg Secondary School bid farewell to their 2022 matric class on December 6.

The matric farewell had a huge audience consisting learners from various grades, community members, friends, family members and parents.

Teacher Morrison Ebrahim said with the event they wanted to appreciate the academic efforts displayed by learners through the year.

“Last year we produced a 78% pass rate and this year we are targeting 90%. They are done with the exams and we want them to enjoy the event.”

Organiser and teacher Kopano Lekgau said they were happy to see the learners enjoy the event.
