Share Joy shares the Christmas spirit

What a better way to end the year off than with your friends, teachers and Santa, who came all the way from the North Pole to give out presents.

POLOKWANE – Share Joy Preschool hosted their year-end function last Thursday where Santa visited the school to shower the learners with gifts.

The learners were entertained with Christmas carols and had lots of fun with Santa, teachers and principal Josephine Kagori.

“We had a chance to remind the kids that we celebrate the birth of Jesus and explained to them this is usually the time for families to come together to create beautiful and unforgettable memories. The learners were also treated to a special lunch to make it extra special. This is an event that will remind them that school doesn’t have to be boring and serious all the time. This is a chance for them to also remember this moment when they return to school next year,” Kagori said.

The learners shared with their friends what they will miss about school and what they will be doing during the festive season.

Khutso Make said he’s excited because he is going on holiday with his family.

“I will also miss my friends at school because I play with them everyday during break time when I come to school, but I know will see them again next year,” Khutso said.

Kagori concluded that she wishes all the learners well for the holiday and she cannot wait to see them again next year.
