POLOKWANE – He is a popular guest at events and parties in the city and Papa Mouse is all about entertaining and supporting local gatherings, especially during the holiday.

Papa Mouse, as he is affectionately known, is an independent brand mascot who represents himself to make a living.

“I often serve as an ambassador for a few companies or services in Polokwane and occassionally do charity work by attending kids parties, or visit day-cares and pre-schools to entertain children. I also attend disability events to provide entertainment,” he told the Polokwane Observer.

Papa Mouse said he will be hosting various events in the city during the festive season and invites everyone to come say hello wherever they see him.

“I chose to be a mascot about 10 years ago because I have love for children and people in general. I love entertaining people and making them smile on their worst days. As a mascot I know that I provide a common label to the public as I also create a sense of belonging. At most events that I attend, regardless of the event being mine or even whether I’m invited, I always make everyone feel included and connect the audience to each other so that no one feels left out,” he said.
