Angry Seshego mob hand crèche burglar over to police
Three men broke into Dimakatso Crèche and Preschool and made off with two gas cylinders and uncooked food with a combined estimate of R3 500.
POLOKWANE – All of the items that were recently stolen from Dimakatso Crèche and Preschool in Seshego were sold to unknown persons.
This was confirmed by one of the three suspects said to have broken in to Dimakatso’s kitchen, making off with two 48kg gas cylinders and uncooked food with a combined estimated value of R3 500.
A witness who had seen the three men’s actions on that fated early morning led an angry mob, a few days later to Zone 1 where he was found and handed over to police.
“We could not find the other two and despite having demanded that he lead us to them,” community leader, Vincent Kunutu says.

Although the property owner has opened a case, the police could not confirm the identity of the suspect or whether he has appeared before any court for his alleged involvement in the theft and breaking into the private property.
This is the second preschool to have experienced a burglary since the beginning of the year. Good Hope Pre-school in Zone 5 met the same fate weeks prior.

The perpetrators entered and exited through the roof.
Ahead of the suspect having been caught, the community was hopeful that the thieves would be caught, because of the evidence left behind. Any information that can lead to the arrest of the remaining perpetrators is requested to call Kunutu on 082 063 8272 or the Seshego police.
