Cooler temperatures expected in Polokwane this week

Thundershowers are expected this afternoon (March 27) with more rain and temperatures in the teens expected over the weekend.

POLOKWANE – While warmer temperatures are expected in the city mid-week, conditions are expected to cool down over the weekend.

AccuWeather’s forecast anticipates temperatures in the high twenties and high teens, peaking at 29ºC on Thursday and Friday and dropping down to 19ºC on Saturday.

The cooler weather will bring rain along with it as thundershowers and showers are expected over the weekend.

Friday will see a 55% chance of rain while a 79% chance of rain is expected on Saturday.

Partly cloudy conditions will persist throughout the week, however, pleasant and sunny weather is anticipated on Wednesday.

Minimum temperatures will peak in the mid to low teens this week as autumn slowly creeps up on the city.
