Inside Out spa host Cancer Care Day for patients and survivors

Pheladi Maredi, founder of Inside Out aesthetics and medical spa said cancer awareness events could help reduce health inequalities and improve cancer outcomes.

POLOKWANE – Pheladi Maredi, founder of Inside Out aesthetics and medical spa hosted a Cancer Care Day on November 8 for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy as well as cancer survivors.

In partnership with CANSA and IS Clinical South Africa, all patients were treated to harmony facial which is a medical facial formulated to help hydrate the skin whilst repairing the skin from side effects of the cancer treatments.

Maredi told Polokwane Observer that cancer awareness events could help reduce health inequalities and improve cancer outcomes. “Having cancer awareness gives individuals the confidence to speak to a doctor if something doesn’t feel normal to them, as spotting cancer early increases the chance of survival.”
