POLOKWANE – Level three gymnast Owen Botha from Gymstars Gymnastics scored an incredible 10 out of 10 on the vault at the Limpopo Artistic Competition in Lephalale on Friday.

He also ended second overall in his age group for level three and won a gold medal for his overall average.

Botha made it to the Limpopo gymnastics team that will be competing in Eldoraigne on June 14 and 15.

“You made Gymstars proud Owie. Well done to you,” Gymstars Gymnastics owner and head coach Lelanie Logtenberg said.

“Regularly entering competitions may be a powerful way to inspire yourself to continuously attempt to improve. The confidence you integrate producing a worthy entry is invaluable within the artistic world.”
