Pipe leak affects water supply in Seshego

Water supply to the entire Seshego area has been temporarily closed to facilitate these emergency repairs.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality says residents in Seshego will be without water after supply had to be temporarily closed due to a pipe leak.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala says the leak was detected at the Seshego outlet reservoir, necessitating immediate attention and repairs.

“Effective immediately, water supply to the entire Seshego area has been temporarily closed to facilitate these emergency repairs. The municipal team is working to resolve the issue and anticipates that the repair work will be completed by 10:00 this morning, at which time water supply will be fully restored,” his statement read.

Selala said all affected customers should note that it might still take some time for water flow to reach all affected areas as the line is currently empty.
