Tshepo Mathabatha is a visionary entrepreneur has defied the odds and carved her own path to success with her business.

POLOKWANE – National Women’s Day is a moment to celebrate the remarkable achievements of women in leadership roles across various fields.

Leading fearlessly and shaping the future of young minds, Tshepo Mathabatha is a visionary entrepreneur has defied the odds and carved her own path to success with her business.

Through her hard work and dedication, Tshepo has not only established a thriving business but also became a role model for aspiring female entrepreneurs everywhere, proving that success knows no gender.

She owns many businesses such as Tea O’clock which is her bakery as well as the House of Impressions and Image Consultation Firm.

“I hire based on kindness, I make sure that I know what my employees’ personal goals are so that I can ensure that what they are doing is aligned with where they want to be. When you take a personal interest in someone they eventually know that you care about their well-being,” she said.

Tshepo highlighted that she builds a strong relationship with her employees as it is not only about business, but it solidifies their trust in her.

She has also taken extra interest in the extended parts of their lives. “Women face common struggle so it’s easier for me to lead women because I know how it feels like to come across different challenges.”

“There is always a social element to solving a particular problem in your community that you would have seen so our businesses are closely linked to people with socio-economic struggles.”

Tshepo serves as an inspiring entrepreneur to many women and girls who wish to follow her footsteps as woman in leadership positions.

“When I operated my family’s business, I learnt that not everyone is meant to be an employee forever. That is why I’m serious about seeking out people who want to eventually build their own business,” concluded Tshepo.
