Polokwane expects sudden mid-week cool-down

Residents can expect sweltering conditions before a dramatic mid-week drop in temperature and a chance of rain.

POLOKWANE – Polokwane can expect warm weather for most of the week, with temperatures in the mid-thirties by Wednesday.

On Monday, residents can expect a warm day with a gentle breeze and a high of 29°C.

Tuesday will see temperatures rise further, reaching 31°C, while Wednesday is expected to be the hottest day of the week, with a high of 33°C and light but sustained windy conditions.

A significant drop in temperature is forecast for Thursday, with a high of only 21°C, accompanied by strong winds. This cooler trend is expected to continue into Friday, with a high of 16°C. There is also a slight chance of rain on Friday, with a 6% probability.

The weekend is expected to see a gradual warming trend, with Saturday’s high reaching 18°C. By Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise further, reaching a pleasant 24°C.

Evening temperatures are expected to range between 2°C and 12°C.
