POLOKWANE – The Greenery Shopping Centre in Polokwane has been ranked the number one best-rated shopping centre in South Africa, based on Google reviews.

According to a ranking of the country’s 10 best-rated shopping centres, The Greenery achieved an average rating of 4.68 stars from 1 153 Google reviews.

The centre ranked ahead of prominent destinations including Melrose Arch, Nelson Mandela Square, the Marine Walk and the Constantia Emporium.

Municipal land, private investment

The Greenery was built on land made available by Polokwane Municipality.

According to a statement released on Sunday, October 11, the municipality cites the centre as an example of how municipal support, private-sector investment and strategic partnerships can unlock economic opportunities.

The statement said the achievement adds to Polokwane’s growing reputation as a commercial hub and an attractive destination for investors.
