Noordskool hosts annual concert

Noordskool's Praise and Worship concert shines with vibrant performances by Gr 1-7 learners, celebrating 'Promises Made, Promises Kept.'

POLOKWANE – Laerskool Pietersburg Noord (Noordskool) recently held their highly anticipated annual Praise and Worship concert in the school hall, which ran from Monday to Friday to accommodate all parents over separate evenings.

School prefects were assigned to assist guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming arrival process.

Principal Greg Schoeman, opened the event by greeting attendees and introducing this year’s theme, ‘Promises Made, Promises Kept’.

The concert featured performances by learners from Gr 1 to 7, who dazzled the audience with their vibrant costumes, cheerful smiles, and spirited performances on a brightly lit stage.

Throughout the concert, learners recited Bible verses and shared messages between performances, adding a reflective touch to the festivities.

As the final act of the evening concluded with the Gr 7 learners, Schoeman expressed his gratitude to the parents, teachers, and learners for their dedication and support over the five days.

He acknowledged their energy and hard work, especially noting that Friday’s performance took place only in the morning due to an early school dismissal.

“Well done to all our learners for maintaining such enthusiasm each night. Now, you all deserve a well-earned rest after your hard work during rehearsals and the main shows.”
