Makgorometša a Seshego to boost local businesses

Seshego's inaugural social market sparks entrepreneurship, fostering growth for small, medium, and micro enterprises.

POLOKWANE – The inaugural Makgorometša a Seshego social market was held at Thabang Butchery Zone 1 complex on September 15, offering local businesses a platform for exposure, networking, and fun.

Event organiser George Thembo explained that the market aims to unite small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) from Polokwane and Seshego, encouraging mutual support and growth.

“Sunday was the launch, introducing the concept to the community, and we plan to make this a regular event,” Thembo said.

Keneilwe Koti, founder of Oh’lalaruby Donuts, participated by showcasing her unique, freshly made doughnuts with a balance of flavours.

“We will rotate hosting venues at each meetup to give all businesses the chance to benefit and grow. Our goal is to see these enterprises flourish and contribute to the growth of the township economy,” added Thembo.
