Limpopo businessman gifts family with new home

LIMPOPO – There was joy and gratitude in Mabedengwa on October 12, as Nana Mathebula, an unemployed mother of six, received a brand-new four-roomed house from a generous businessman. The handover ceremony was attended by the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Basikopo Makamu and Louis Trichardt Mayor, Dorcus Mboyi.
Mathebula had been living with her children in a small, dilapidated shack when Jones Mulaudzi of Kingpin Financial Services stepped in to change their lives. Mulaudzi shared how he learned about Mathebula’s dire situation:
“When I visited her home, I was heartbroken to see the family had no proper place to stay, no house to call home. It deeply moved me, and I knew I had to build them a new house”.

He explained that his aim was to restore the dignity of the Mathebula family. “As businesspeople, it is our responsibility to uplift the lives of those in need and make a positive impact in our communities.”
A tearful Mathebula expressed her heartfelt gratitude. “Out of so many people, someone with a heart of gold came into my life and made my dream come true,” she said. Reflecting on the hardship they endured, she added, “I used to worry about where to shelter my children when it rained or when strong winds blew. Now, they finally have a place to call home.”
Makamu, who officially handed over the house, welcomed the gesture and encouraged more partnerships like this. “The government alone cannot address all challenges. When stakeholders like Mr Mulaudzi get involved, we can achieve so much more.”
