Limpopo Biker-Council hosts 43rd annual Toy Run

The Limpopo Biker-Council's 43rd Toy Run collected toys and essentials to bring Christmas joy to underprivileged children.

POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Biker-Council hosted its 43rd annual Toy Run on November 24, drawing bikers from across the region to spread holiday cheer.

The event featured a mass ride, starting at Noordelikes Rugby Club, travelling through the city, and returning to the starting point.

The primary goal of the initiative is to collect toys, food, books, and other items to brighten the Christmas season for underprivileged children. Participants brought a variety of donations, which were sorted, cleaned, and distributed to shelters and communities unable to afford Christmas gifts for children.

Ronald Leach, chairperson of the Limpopo Biker-Council, expressed gratitude for the support the initiative receives.

“It brings me joy to see us putting smiles on children’s faces with these small gestures. These gifts may be small, but they mean so much. We are truly thankful to everyone involved, especially the companies that support us,” he said.
