POLOKWANE – PEPPS ECD phase Polokwane hosted their farmyard fun production on November 29 in the Tladi Hall.
The event saw the sprouts, saplings and Gr Rs performing what they have learnt, and parents came in their numbers to support and encourage their young ones on stage.
“The production was great! I enjoyed it a lot and we had a chance to perform for our parents and teachers,” said one of the learners, Mpho Mojapelo.
Olivia de Jager is a duck on the farm.
Malusi Mhlambi and Mogale Maepa shake their hips to one of the songs in the play.
Diana Allen, Hikatekile Bvuma, Humo Motene and Lebo Malebana perform as frogs.
Learners came in colourful costumes as they played their various parts, while singing songs that accompanied the story. They were also rewarded with party packs for their great effort.
“Learners and parents enjoyed the production, and everything was lovely. Parents couldn’t believe that it took only three weeks for learners to study the lyrics and dance moves. Everything was awesome,” said Gr R teacher, Morongwa Masoga.
