POLOKWANE – As the festive season kicks in, Polokwane Mayor John Mpe is extending his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Polokwane for entrusting him with the responsibility of enhancing the quality of services and driving positive change in the city.
To get into the festive spirit, the Polokwane Municipality has set aside a budget to ensure that all lights in the city, including those at the parks, are well-maintained and shining bright.
This is all part of the municipality’s efforts to make the city look more vibrant and welcoming during the festive period.
Mayor Mpe reflected on the past year, expressing appreciation for the support received from communities and stakeholders.
He emphasized the importance of unity and patriotism, encouraging residents to come together against racism, inequality, and poverty.
He also urged motorists to exercise patience and tolerance on the roads, and to prioritize road safety.
On behalf of the Polokwane Municipality Council, Mayor Mpe wished the residents a joyful and safe end to 2024 and a prosperous 2025.
