Meropa Casino hosts vibrant Lekompo Balcony Mix
Thousands gathered at Meropa for the Lekompo Balcony Mix festival, featuring Shebe’s return, electrifying sets, and vibrant cultural pride.

POLOKWANE – The city came alive with rhythm, colour, and celebration this weekend, as Meropa Casino and Entertainment World played host to the sixth edition of the Lekompo Balcony Mix, a travelling music festival.
Music lovers from Limpopo, Gauteng and other provinces gathered in numbers to experience a day of high-energy performances, traditional beats, and a shared sense of identity.
Following a successful stop in Gauteng, this latest edition marked a highly anticipated return to Limpopo, where fans warmly welcomed the festival back to its roots.

Taking centre stage was Shebe Maburna, making a long-awaited return to the spotlight after taking a break from music for personal reasons.
His comeback was met with resounding cheers as fans sang along to his well-known hits.
Shebe was joined by performers Kharishma and Naqua, who delivered great sets and engaged the crowd with their energy.

The event was a celebration of community and connection. Local celebrities such as Shandesh, Janesh, Zoli White Smoke and Clement Maosa mingled with fans.

Speaking on behalf of the organisers, Hitboss said the Lekompo Balcony Mix is more than a music festival, but more so, a cultural movement. “We are doing this for the culture, and this movement belongs to no one. Everyone is welcome,” he concluded.
