POLOKWANE – Motorists travelling from Polokwane towards the Nyl Plaza are experiencing heavy traffic delays this afternoon.

Several vehicles have been spotted driving along and overtaking unsafely in the emergency lane. In other areas along the route, parked cars in the emergency lane further narrow the available space.

Drivers are strongly urged to remain patient, avoid aggressive manoeuvres, and refrain from using emergency lanes unlawfully. Road users are also reminded to maintain a safe following distance and to proceed with caution

Commuters should plan for extra travel time and remain alert.
