LIMPOPO – Members of the Waterberg District Flying Squad arrested a 29-year-old man for possession of suspected stolen property during an early-morning operation in Modimolle yesterday (August 19).
The Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said members stopped a blue Chevrolet sedan at about 05:30, while patrolling the N1 near Kranskop.
A search of the vehicle uncovered an assortment of items hidden in the boot, including:
An E-Tower battery,
A Sun Synk inverter,
A cordless angle grinder,
Gas cylinders, and
Various housebreaking implements.

“The goods are valued at approximately R44 000. The suspect was unable to explain their origin and was arrested on the spot,” his statement read.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Modimolle Magistrate’s Court soon while police investigations continue.
