Clouds and rain give way to sunshine

Prepare for cooler conditions early in the week, but sunny and warm weather is on the horizon as Polokwane heads into October.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a mixed bag of weather conditions this week, starting with cool, cloudy days before warming up towards the weekend.

On Monday, temperatures will reach a high of 21°C with showers and a possible thunderstorm expected later in the day. Conditions will remain rather cloudy on Tuesday, with a maximum of 20°C.

By midweek, the weather will begin to improve, with Wednesday reaching a high of  23°C, bringing partly cloudy skies and sunshine. Thursday will continue the warming trend, climbing to 29°C under clear, sunny skies.

Friday will see slightly cooler conditions with a maximum of 23°C as low morning clouds make way for sunshine.

Saturday is expected to be pleasant, partly sunny, and warmer at 26°C. The weekend will end on a high note as Sunday is forecast to be the hottest day of the week, reaching 30°C under plenty of sunshine.
