The Transport and Community Safety MEC, Violet Mathye, commended law enforcement officials for their continued dedication in keeping Limpopo’s roads safe, while expressing concern about ongoing reckless and negligent driving.

“We urge all road users to prioritise safety and make responsible choices. Let us work together to build a culture of responsible driving and ensure that our roads are safe for everyone,” Mathye said.

The department says it will continue to work closely with law enforcement agencies to enforce traffic laws and promote responsible driving behaviour.

Motorists are urged to avoid drinking and driving, to obey the rules of the road, and to report reckless behaviour that endangers others.
