Westenburg artist drops genre-bending single
Rolland 'RoEvahson' Tiki from Westenburg blends hip hop, kwaito and amapiano in his latest single, growing his reputation in the creative scene.
POLOKWANE – Multidisciplinary artist Rolland ‘RoEvahson’ Tiki from Westenburg is steadily carving out a name for himself in the creative scene. Known for his versatility as a rapper, singer, songwriter, poet, actor and stylist, RoEvahson has built a reputation for blending storytelling and visual style into a distinctive artistic identity.
He has officially released his latest single titled; ‘304 Chitty Chitty Bang,’ a genre-bending anthem, redefining South African sound.
Following his breakout track ‘Mpahla’ with rap duo Ward 9teen, RoEvahson has continued to explore a sound rooted in hip hop, kwaito and amapiano. Drawing from his childhood experiences listening to a variety of genres on his brother’s MP3 player, he has developed a rhythm-heavy, genre-bending style that shows fearless experimentation and a commitment to preserving the essence of South African music.
