Warm, mostly sunny week in store for Polokwane

After weeks of rain hogging the spotlight, the sun is back, bringing warm days, mild nights and little chance of rain for Polokwane.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a largely warm and settled week ahead, with plenty of sunshine and only a small chance of afternoon thundershowers towards the latter part of the week.

The week gets off to a pleasant start on Monday, with partly sunny conditions and daytime temperatures reaching a high of 28°C, while cooler conditions settle in overnight.

Temperatures are expected to climb on Tuesday, peaking at around 30°C after a cloudy start gives way to sunshine later in the day.

By Wednesday, the weather remains stable, with intervals of cloud and sunshine and daytime highs around 28°C. There is a slight chance of isolated showers, but most areas are expected to remain dry.

Conditions are set to change slightly on Thursday, with sunshine early in the day followed by increasing cloud cover. An afternoon thunderstorm is possible, with temperatures holding steady at about 28°C.

Friday brings lower cloud cover, with the possibility of some sunshine later in the day. Daytime temperatures will again hover around 28°C.

Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 29°C, while Sunday will be warmer, with mostly sunny conditions and temperatures rising to around 30°C.
