Sunny week ahead for Polokwane with weekend showers possible

Polokwane can expect warm, sunny conditions with highs near 30°C this week, before clouds and possible showers move in over the weekend.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a warm and largely sunny week ahead, with temperatures climbing to around 30°C before a chance of showers towards the weekend.

Monday will be warmer with a mix of sunshine and clouds, reaching a high of 27°C. Conditions will turn mostly sunny on Tuesday, with temperatures rising to 29°C after a cool start to the day.

By midweek, the heat intensifies. Wednesday is forecast to be sunny with a high of 30°C, while Thursday remains mostly sunny and warm, again peaking at 30°C.

Cloud cover is expected to increase on Friday, with more clouds than sun and a high of 29°C.

A change in conditions is likely on Saturday, when variable cloudiness is forecast along with a couple of showers and the possibility of a thunderstorm. Temperatures will remain warm, reaching 28°C during the day.

Sunday brings a mix of sun and clouds, with a high of 28°C, rounding off a predominantly warm week for the city.
