Cloudy week ahead for Polokwane with scattered showers

Polokwane can expect mild temperatures, cloudy skies, and scattered showers with possible afternoon thunderstorms throughout the week.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a mild and mostly cloudy week ahead, with several opportunities for afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures will generally remain comfortable in the low-to-mid 20s, while overnight temperatures range from the mid-teens to around 19°C.

Monday will start the week with intervals of clouds and sunshine, with a couple of showers expected during the afternoon. Temperatures will reach a high of 25°C, cooling to 14°C overnight. Winds will be light from the ESE at around 11 km/h.

On Tuesday, conditions will turn cloudier during the day, with a thunderstorm possible in a few areas during the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to 27°C, making it one of the warmer days of the week, with a low of 14°C.

Wednesday will bring a mix of sunshine and clouds, along with a couple of afternoon showers. The temperature will be slightly cooler, with a high of 23°C and a low of 17°C. Winds from the southeast at about 13 km/h will bring moderate conditions.

On Thursday, there is a chance of a few showers and a thunderstorm early in the day. Skies will remain cloudy in the morning, followed by intervals of clouds and sunshine later in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach 23°C, with a low of 16°C.

Friday may begin with occasional morning rain, before transitioning to mostly cloudy conditions through the afternoon. The high will be 24°C, with an overnight low of 16°C.

Looking ahead to Saturday, residents can expect mostly cloudy skies, with a thunderstorm possible in one or two areas. Temperatures will reach 23°C, with a low of 16°C, while winds remain light.

Sunday brings the week to a close on a mostly cloudy note, with a morning thundershower possible in isolated areas before conditions settle later in the day. Temperatures will reach 23°C, with a warmer overnight low of 19°C.
