AgriHX Expo offers talks, demos and fun for all

Visitors to AgriHX Expo can enjoy drone demos, exhibits, cupcake decorating, art classes and expert talks on animal health and traceability.

POLOKWANE – Visitors to the AfgriHX Expo, taking place at The Ranch Resort from March 19-21 can look forward to a wide range of activities, demonstrations and discussions tailored specifically for youth and women, alongside the latest developments in the agricultural sector.

On March 19, the focus will be on youths from Gr 10 to university level, offering valuable insights into career opportunities in agriculture. Topics will include animal science, ultrasound scanners and breeding equipment, as well as animal health and diseases. Speakers on the day include Nadine Gibbens (Esceezet Pty Ltd), Elaine Griese (Lanescan) and Dr Oswald Jannasch.

The programme on Friday and Saturday promises plenty of fun and practical activities for women. These include art classes such as coaster painting and zentangle cards, demonstrations on cupcake decorating and even how to debone a chicken.

Experts in farming will keep you informed at the AgriHX Expo.

Lucky draws and mini makeovers will add to the lively atmosphere.

On Saturday, visitors can attend informative talks on important agricultural topics, including animal health by Dr Dario Cremona and traceability by Dr Johan Cloete. Marzelle Reddley will also present a ‘Mountain to Mountain Top’ demonstration.

A veterinary panel discussion with Dr Duncan Green, Dr Nico du Preez, Dr Roelf van Rooyen and Dr Dario Cremona will give guests the opportunity to ask questions directly to experts.

Additional demonstrations throughout the expo will showcase new tractors and drones, ultrasound scanners and breeding equipment, as well as supplementary feeding solutions.

Guests can also explore exhibition stalls, enjoy a variety of food and beverage vendors, and keep the children entertained with family-friendly activities.
