Luthuli Phase 2 community seeks justice after DJ killed

POLOKWANE – A fatal stabbing in Luthuli Phase 2 has left the community reeling after local DJ Khutjo Thabethe was killed following a performance at a local tavern on March 1.

According to police, Thabethe was allegedly attacked later that night and sustained multiple stab wounds.

He later succumbed to his injuries.

Court proceedings underway as residents call for justice

Residents have expressed outrage over the incident, with some calling for justice as the case proceeds through the courts.

Community members described Thabethe as a well-known member of the community.

The accused appeared in court on March 19.

The case has since been postponed, and further proceedings are expected.

Some residents have called for bail to be denied.
