Polokwane will see a cloudy start, followed by warm, sunny conditions midweek, before thunderstorms return on Sunday.

POLOKWANE – Residents can expect a varied week of weather, starting with cloudy and breezy conditions before clearer skies emerge midweek and a return of thunderstorms by Sunday.

Monday kicked off the week with warm and sunny conditions and a high of 31°C. Tuesday starts on a cooler note with a morning shower expected, followed by a mostly cloudy day. Temperatures are set to reach a high of 25°C, with conditions turning breezy later in the afternoon.

Improving weather is forecast from Wednesday, with sunshine returning after a cloudy start. Daytime temperatures will climb to around 26°C, with similar conditions continuing into Thursday.

By Friday, the city is expected to enjoy abundant sunshine and warmer conditions, with temperatures rising to 28°C. The warming trend continues into Saturday, which is forecast to be mostly sunny with a high of 29°C.

However, the settled weather will be short-lived. Cloud cover is expected to increase on Sunday, with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms in parts of the area and temperatures easing slightly to 28°C.
