LIMPOPO – The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety has confirmed that the N1 between Makhado and Musina, near Ingwe Motel, has been temporarily reopened following a bus crash earlier.

A Zimbabwe-registered bus reportedly lost control and veered off the road, landing in a ditch along the northbound lane.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.

Emergency services, traffic officers and police remain on the scene.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the number or extent of injuries.

Motorists travelling through the area are advised to reduce speed and proceed with caution as officials continue to manage the scene.

Road users are urged to follow all traffic regulations and instructions from authorities.
