Manhunt underway after fatal shooting in Musina
Police have launched a manhunt after a 29-year-old man was fatally shot and a woman injured in a Musina shooting early Monday morning.
LIMPOPO – A manhunt is underway in Musina after the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man early on Monday morning.
Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said that officers responded to an incident at around 1:45 AM.
Victim found slumped over in vehicle
“Upon arrival, police found a man slumped over in a vehicle. He has sustained multiple gunshot wounds and several spent cartridges were recovered at the scene.”
EMS certified the victim dead at the scene.
Woman also injured in shooting
Ledwaba said preliminary investigations suggest the victim was with a woman inside the vehicle when the perpetrators opened fire. The female victim sustained injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
