Westenburg police are investigating after a body with missing parts was found in a graveyard at Extension 44.
POLOKWANE – Westenburg police have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in a graveyard at Extension 44 on Monday evening.
According to information received, the deceased is believed to have been murdered. Certain body parts were allegedly missing and the body appeared to have been burned.
Emergency medical services were called to the scene and confirmed the death.
Body may have been there for months
It is suspected the body had been at the location for several months before it was discovered.
At the time of discovery, the deceased could not be identified but is believed to be male.
