Big Bounce SA bounces at MHouse

Despite the rainy weather, families attended in large numbers to enjoy activities such as the Big Bounce SA inflatable castle, Segway rides, and lively music while sampling food from various stalls.

POLOKWANE – The Mitchell House Parents Association (PA) hosted their first Family Day of the year on February 15 at the school’s sports field, to welcome new learners and their families, while also bringing returning families together for a day of fun and bonding.

“The event provided a chance for parents and learners to connect outside of the classroom, something they don’t often have the time for during school hours. It was also an opportunity to foster a sense of community and create lasting friendships,” said Rodney Mushwana, Mitchell House PA member.

Despite the rainy weather, families attended in large numbers to enjoy activities such as the Big Bounce SA inflatable castle, Segway rides, and lively music while sampling food from various stalls.

Learners excitedly ran around the field, enjoying the inflatable castle, with some parents joining in on the fun while others relaxed and watched.

“I love playing with my friends and jumping inside the inflatable castle,” said Tshivhula Matamela, one of the learners.
