Past learners reminisce at PEPPS Alumni Connect event

PEPPS alumni recently spent the morning together during the launch of the Alumni Office which included a look at the future of the school and tours of the campus.

POLOKWANE – PEPPS schools made history on Saturday by hosting its inaugural Alumni Connect event, bringing together alumni from PEPPS Polokwane, Mokopane, and Ga-Ledwaba, along with board members and parent forum representatives.

The event, planned by Penelope Mojapelo, Rethabile Mothapo, Martin Afonso, and Lesibana Shika, was a resounding success.

Mojapelo welcomed guests, sharing her excitement about the launch of the Alumni Office.

Rethabile Mothapo led a prayer, followed by presentations on the Alumni Office’s purpose and the future of PEPPS.

Executive head Amanda Korff led a special toast, paying tribute to Carol Melville, a dedicated board member and former head of PEPPS Polokwane Preparatory School and College.

Melville’s eight-year tenure on the board and her remarkable legacy were celebrated.

The alumni then toured the campus, rediscovering new structures while reminiscing about memories.

Heartwarming moments followed as alumni found their names on trophies and honours boards.

The event wrapped up with networking, appetisers and shared nostalgia.

PEPPS extended its gratitude to the sponsors of the event: Phaphathi, Chris Travels, Think Ink, Van Schaik, Mmasheko Events, JSM Logistics and AuckleyM.
