PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Environmental Authorization application, on behalf of BAFATI GROUP (PTY) LTE. Notice is hereby given in terms of EIA Regulation41(2)(c) of the regulations, under the Environmental Management Act,1998(Act no.107 of 1998). This is also a notice of acceptance for the application of mining permit in terms of section 27 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resource Development Act 28 of 2002(MPRDA). Bafati Group (Pty) Ltd applied for a mining permit to mine for Aggregate, Gravel and Stone Aggregate Gravel in terms of the section 27 of the MPRDA, the application covers on a portion of portion 40 of Farm Weenen 40 KS.

You can be involved in the public participation process by sending an email with your name and contact details, stating your concern/questions relating to proposed project. You can also provide us with names of additional people that can be contacted. All correspondence which is received within 30 days from the day of notice will be submitted to (DMRE). All issues raised within the public participation process will be responded to in writing to the interested and affected parties. This include all parties who will be affected by the project and interested in the prospecting project.
